Orca Health app for iPhone and iPad

The Orca Health app is a powerful patient education tool. It features a growing library of animated 3D videos and images depicting common medical conditions and treatments, example exercise and postoperative care videos, fully interactive 3D anatomical models, and augmented reality simulations. This world-class content helps providers in more than a dozen specialties to simplify complex medical concepts, improving the knowledge, comprehension and retention of patients.

We are excited to introduce Waiting Room mode, designed to educate your patients on iPads in your waiting room. Too often, the impact of the waiting room is overlooked. But studies show that the waiting room is a pivotal place where healthcare begins, and it’s often where patients decide whether or not they’ve received high-quality care. In fact, 96% of all patient complaints and poor online reviews are related to customer service. Using Orca Health in your waiting room improves quality of care, office efficiency, patient loyalty and satisfaction - all while lowering costs.

During an otherwise wasted period of time, your patients can browse the beautiful content in the app, learning more about conditions and treatment options they might be interested in. This results in more productive consultations with patients, less impatience and reduced anxiety while they wait. The Orca Health app allows providers to not only educate patients, but also to streamline the intake process and collect important baseline metrics about a patients condition, which can later be used to accurately determine outcomes and provider performance.

Orca Health is free to download with a sample of each piece of content, across the different anatomical categories. If you’d like to unlock additional content you can subscribe via in-app purchase. All subscriptions begin with a 3 day free trial period. The subscriptions support the ongoing production of additional content and help ensure a quality experience as we continue to update the app with new features.

Users can subscribe individually to any anatomical category, or to any combination of them. There are discounted subscriptions for all Musculoskeletal content, as well as for all of the content available in the app. Each subscription option has the choice to renew monthly, or yearly at a discount. All subscriptions include access to Waiting Room mode.

After the 3-Day free trial, your subscription will automatically be charged for renewal unless cancelled at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You will not be charged if you cancel your subscription during the free trial period. You can manage your subscriptions in the Account Settings for your Apple ID after purchase. Orca Health cannot cancel, edit, renew, refund or otherwise manage your subscription. In-app subscriptions are entirely the purview of Apple Inc.
